CERTIFIED CRASH TESTING
Designed around the CCI Tie Down system and tested together, the Adaptachair was the first Powerchair to have passed stringent Transport Research Laboratory crash tests for adapted vehicles for driving and passenger use.

The Adaptachair has been tested under the following qualifications: CERTIFIED under ISO7176-19 (Wheelchairs: Wheeled Mobility Devices for Use in Motor Vehicles) TESTED to BS 3254 (British Standard for adult seat belts) TESTED to BSAU202 (Specification for rearward-facing restraint systems for infants, for use in road vehicles) TESTED to BSAU155 Also the Adaptachair having been in rigorously testing and has now attained its CE Marking under medical one category, in line with current legislation. |
